Since we have a two-week spring break that encompasses the Easter weekend, and we didn’t know if Ty would be home for actual Easter, we decided to do Easter this past Monday so he could be home for the egg hunt.
The kids love doing mazes and creating maps, so we made them a treasure hunt map for their hunt. And to make it extra fun, I made bunny footprints along the way.
Here is the template I made, feel free to print it, cut it out and use it for your own Easter Egg hunt!
I’ve seen people using powdered sugar or flour for footprints, but we used baby powder since we didn’t want to attract ants or other insects.
It works better if you use cardstock instead of regular paper, makes it easier to pick up after sprinkling the powder.
You can use the inside of the template or the cut-out pieces for two different footprint styles, as shown below.
